Speaking during the burial of two brothers, Stanley and Kennedy, in Nyaani Village, Wamunyu Ward, Mwala Sub-county in Machakos, Ndei expressed concern over what he termed as shortcomings within the justice system, saying many families continue to suffer while waiting for justice and accountability. The two brothers were laid to rest at their parents' farm in Nyaani Village amid emotional scenes attended by family members, leaders, and residents. The third victim is expected to be buried tomorrow in Kalama, Machakos Town Constituency. Pascal Ndei's remarks came after Mwala MP Hon. Eng. Vincent Musyoka Musau Kawaya pledged to seek answers from Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen regarding the progress of investigations into the killings. Addressing mourners, Ndei said residents would be keenly watching developments and expect the legislator to move swiftly in ensuring the matter receives the attention it deserves at the national level. "We are waiting eagerly for CS Kipchumba Murkomen to appear in Parliament as you have promised to take personal responsibility in seeking answers regarding the investigations into this case. The families deserve justice, and Kenyans deserve to know the truth," he said. Ndei urged investigative agencies to expedite investigations and ensure all those involved in the killings are identified, arrested, and prosecuted. Making a political statement during the burial, the MCA aspirant, Pascal Ndei expressed confidence that Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka would offer better leadership for the country in the 2027 General Election.
