There was supposed to be a moment in the original script where Nikki snaps out of it while Bear is inside of her in bed and she starts screaming and begging for him to stop. In response, Bear just stops and waits for the One Wish Willow to take control again so he can keep 🍇ing her. I think I would have vommitted if they kept that in the movie. It is baffling to me how some people still defend Bear.

“He tried to cancel it!!!” No, he first tried to ALTER the wish. Not cancel it. When he found out it had all backfired and wasn’t real love, THEN he tried to cancel it. What matters most is the first bit. Altering instead of canceling. He never wanted to free her. He wanted to free himself from the discomfort that HE made for himself because she became “too much” for him.
