The U.S. Department of Homeland Security did not just deport people to Haiti on Thursday. It filmed them, edited the footage, stamped government slogans over their bodies, and disgustingly posted it like a public service announcement. The video is titled as a “Haiti repatriation flight” dated 08/27/2026. It is shot at night, in the rain, on wet tarmac. Men in white jumpsuits, some with their faces covered, some with their hands bound, some with chains across their waists, are walked up mobile stairs. Officers in yellow rain gear hold them by the arm. One man pulls his shirt over his face. Another is guided from behind. DHS posted the 50 second clip around 7 p.m on their socials, they used a song about going home as the soundtrack to people being loaded onto a plane in the rain, in restraints, as a warning to everyone still in this country. Thursday’s ICE flight, GXA6196, left Alexandria, Louisiana, stopped at Opa-locka, and landed in #CapHaïtien with 57 people. Haitian authorities and the Miami Herald said families were on board, including children born in the United States and Brazil. The youngest was a 1-year-old American-born child. So the government filmed the boarding, put “LEAVE NOW” over it, and sent it to the internet the same day children were on that aircraft. Not because anyone is confused about what TPS means. Say that in a press release. Put it on a website. Do not dress people in white, walk them through a storm in shackles, overlay a Creole homecoming song, and treat their removal like content. Advocates called it sending people, including children back into danger on purpose. Haiti is still under a U.S. “do not travel” warning. Gangs still control large parts of the capital. DHS will say some of the earlier flights carried people with criminal records. That may be true of last week’s plane but the clip does not distinguish. It does not say “these 15 people had convictions.” It shows bodies, rain, chains, and a command: leave now. For a community that worked, paid taxes, renewed TPS every cycle the government offered, this is not enforcement. It is humiliation packaged as policy. 🎥 @DHSGov #lunionsuite #haitianamerican
