Barenia! It’s the original leather that Hermes used to make horse saddles. It’s gorgeous, smooth, wildly durable, & has a lovely scent.

Barenia is both vegetable and chrome tanned hides while Togo is strictly chrome tanned. Veg tanning results are best associated with horse saddles: it will “wear in” & darken over time where chrome tanning holds its color.
