@its.anya.lacey: When you’ve been single as long as I have, everything starts becoming a reminder of him. I’ll be at the gym, washing my face, making dinner, folding laundry… and somehow my brain finds a way to connect it back to a man that doesn’t even exist yet. It’s like every little moment suddenly feels like it’s missing a second person to share it with. The funny part is that I’m perfectly capable of doing everything on my own, but some days it would be nice to have someone standing beside me while I do it. Maybe that’s just what happens when you spend enough time building a life by yourself—you start wondering who’s eventually going to fit into it.
