So are you suggesting this video was recorded in 1950 but not released until 1958 or do you believe that ChatGPT is wrong? In any case Cab Calloway is also credited with a version of the dance move called the “moonwalk” in the 1930s although there is no film evidence of it. No one said Michael Jackson invented the dance move. I posted an earlier comment about this and the fact that Michael Jackson was known to be a student of film and entertainment history. So it is possible MJ was aware of this performer but the idea that he was “copying Mexicans all along” is highly unlikely. What is more likely is that MJ was influenced many performers who came before him but probably not this guy, and why are you wearing a ski mask?
