I will say that hes very wrong on at least one thing. Getting the kids off to school is a lot....way more than 10 min lol. if you have 2 or 3 kids, you get them up, and make sure they're wearing something decent by getting it picked out and on their bodies, and thats after gett8ng showers in, then do hair for boys, for girls you do hair and help with makeup and skin care, then you're making lunches for school, making breakfast to eat there at home, then get shoes and socks on their feet, then when that's alllll done you do an individual inspection on each kid before making sure they have all their school books and homework in their backpacks after finding and emptying out their backpacks from the day before. same with lunch box, if they're dirty at all, your cleaning backpacks and lunch boxes out with actual cleaning products, and believe me, they're dirty and in need of cleaning more often than not, then you make sure yet again they're all put together and ready and carrying everything they need to carry with them. 10 min before that, you're starting the car to warm either the motor or the climate inside up or both. Then when it's time to go, you're gathering them and taking them out the door, and putting them in the car. Someone's always forgotten something that if you're lucky they remember before you leave, then you're going to either the school itself and waiting in line there for drop off or the bus stop. A lot of times there's multiple bus stops or multiple school drop off lines, then you finalllllyyyyyy head home for a few hours before starting to get ready to go pick then up from single or multiple bus stops or schools, at the schools, there's once again a huge line for pickup at each school, and once you're back from that, there's an entire new cycle that starts for after school and what they need to do during that part of the day. That first cycle in the morning to get to school takes at least 2.5 hours, that's if you have 1 or 2 kids if you have 3 or more kids, God forbid, the time and effort on that at least doubles. There's also plenty to do in between drop off and pickup times, as a matter of fact, we get a minimum day every Wednesday, so ya lol.

I was a SAHD 4 days and worked 3 12’s the other days. I was able to do both, easily. The 4 days were ultra easy.

So I woke up early to get myself ready, prepared breakfast and packed lunches with snacks. Woke the kids . Ate breakfast and drive them to school. Shopped for produce , went to the gym, some days I needed to take kids out of school for therapies, doctors appointments… prepared dinner . Picked up kids, took them to activities.

single father here. its no big deal, my kid adds 10% extra effort upon my own requirements, 10% extra food, 10% extra cooking 10% extra washing and so on. work is harder

sahd in the winter, takes 2-3 hrs/day, drop kids off, laundry, dishes, clean house, groceries, mop, shampoo carpets, organize closets and bedrooms, walk dog, then I have 3-4hrs to relax. pick up kids, snack, dinner
