Higher income earner here that has a side hustle. I buy things at a very low price and split some of the profits to a contractor who breaks them down so they can be sold for a significant profit. I’m trading my time for value and thus profit 3-5k a month with very little overhead and risk.

It's all work...a "rental" house sounds great until the rent income barely covers the mortgage payment, but then you have maintenance, repairs, insurance, improvements, etc out of pocket and a call at 2:00 a.m. for a clogged drain. Its all WORK.

I am fortunate enough to have “side assets” but you and I both know that there are many people who don’t have this opportunity to invest in side assets very easily. It may take them a few side hustles along with saving that money and or building their credit to take the next step into their investment future. It’s harder for some people and we need to remember that.
