Unfortunately the U.S is not a high trust society. We have to pass laws to prevent the destruction of nature because if we let ppl do as they'd please there would be total destruction.

Yeah, no thank you. Get your own private proprety and camp there. Or pay to camp on mine (when I feel like sharing). My own peace of mind and calmness on my own ranch is why I went there in the first place. Enough public spaces to share and enjoy at your own leisure.

Nearly true - can not camp on Cultivated Land. Other than that it’s free rein but within the rules. Swimming in any lake - also not true… depends if it’s a reservoir or used as drinking water for the kommune. ( there’s a beautiful lake on a mountain near me ) perfect to swim but used as the above. Even though it’s not fenced off or sign posted it’s known. Other than than Norway is a dream country. It’s beautiful beyond words

And everyone say America is the land of the free. Are we sure of that statement. We argue it, try to push people out and hate all the time. What if we were actually a free country like Norway. People would thrive, be in less drugs and gov assistance. Life would be calmer, simpler and happier.
