Do you want to get your knees to the floor in Baddha Konasana?  Have you been pushing your knees down to try to make this happen?  ✨ The truth is…your knees will never get to the floor by pushing them down! Your knees will get to the floor once you can rotate your hip sockets around the heads of your femurs(upper leg bone)!! So how do you do that?… ✨ Baddha Konasana on 3 Levels!!!  ✨ The first level is the bolster, the second level is a rolled blanket that is rolled halfway up the bolster and the third level is the floor!  ✨ Start by sitting halfway back on the bolster, then place your heels on the blanket roll, and your toes on the floor. Align your feet so that they mirror one another.  ✨ With your hands behind you(use a block if you need more leverage) drag your public bone towards your heels, allowing your hip sockets to rotate around the heads of your femurs and leave your buttocks behind!  ✨ Lift your chest, soften your inner groins and stay. Then, when you feel ready, release your hands from behind you, and see if you stay upright or if you roll back on your sacrum. If you stay upright, without rolling back, that is your invitation to come forward!!  ✨ Don’t be in a hurry! Be exactly where you are!
