@taylormoirrr: A year ago, I did something that seemed a little backwards. While everyone was talking about quitting their 9-5 to become a creator full-time, I was a creator who wanted a 9-5. Content creation gave me so much, and I’ll always be grateful for it, but I found myself becoming obsessed with the things happening behind the scenes. The strategy, the psychology, the relationships, the campaigns, and the people building them. I wanted to understand why things worked, not just create them. So I took a chance on a career in marketing. One year later, I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. I’ve learned more than I ever expected, met incredible people, and found an industry that genuinely excites me. That’s also why I started The Brief. I want to document what I’m learning, share insights into the creator and marketing world through my perspective, and hopefully spotlight some amazing South African talent along the way.
