Oh man. This is the very thing I struggle with most. If I’m honest , it’s my weakness. I pray for help KNOWING in my head I’m going to do it. THIS is the very place and time I need Jesus. In THAT very place. I need help and knowing I’m lying to GOD because the voices in my head tell me the opposite. This so difficult for me. That chain man!Thank you for sharing that scripture.

I’m a stay at home mom with a baby and a toddler and a house to run and I find myself getting so distracted by the world because I simply don’t have the time to carve out an hour of quiet Bible study every day like I used to. I still go to church, pray, and try to read a couple verses every day but it doesn’t feel like enough 😭

can you explain how to "surrender" something to the Lord? if youre addicted to alcohol for example. do you mean simply praying and saying that you surrender that addiction. to the Lord and just strive not to drink at all? or do you mean something more?
