One of the biggest mistakes traders make has nothing to do with their strategy—it has to do with their words. How many times have you said: “I always blow accounts.” “I can’t stay disciplined.” “I’m never going to get this.” “I always mess up.” The problem is that when you continually speak death over yourself, your mind starts to believe it. Your words shape your expectations, your actions, and ultimately your results. That’s why Proverbs 3:5 tells us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding. When we only speak based on our current circumstances, we often speak from fear, frustration, and doubt. But faith speaks differently. Instead of speaking failure, speak growth. Instead of speaking fear, speak trust. Instead of speaking defeat, speak discipline. Your current situation may not look like where God is taking you, but your words should align with His promises, not your emotions.
