This take is fine under the assumption that the tool, could be used to do incredible things CONSISTENTLY. The problem with GenAI is that it doesnt know what it did to make that "art" look cool. And the person isnt left with any info on how to use the tool again to produce the same result, or a new one with the perfect kind of change needed.

The problem is that even as a ‘tool’ companies are pushing for A.I to just outright replace us as artists. They want cheap control that they have the power over in many many many regards. Artists can protests, artists have their own visions, artists are human and they can be a bother to a deadline. Companies know this and they see the alternative being A.I. Now I also think A.I CAN be a tool in the right hands— but the fact it’s outright creating its own works from other people’s and it DOESNT HAVE A SOUL, means it’s taking parts away from our humanity. Certain people and companies won’t use it as a tool, they’ll use it as a solution.

He is right. AI is another tool that will make people lose jobs, like any other tool that has been invented. The problem here is that people need jobs to make money, which is why something like a universal income could be the ultimate solution eventually
