Hey Lisa I have worked with Plex and Lexan. Plexiglass (Acrylic) will resist scratching better than Lexan but it is harder than Lexan and will want to crack more easily. Lexan will scratch more easily but be a bit more forgiving for impacts. both come in a variety of thicknesses and colors,,, and you can get U-V resistant too. You can bend it a bit in your kitchen oven. You want to experiment with it. Too hot and it gets little bubbles in where you bend it. But Dad's right of course a slick "windscreen" would really add to the asthetics. Cheers!!
