Y'all are hating Akane for it. But she is an actress. Her job was to act, and it was much easier for her to act like Ai with Aqua in the show. Plus, you all hate her but you never read the manga for most. She's her own character, her copying ai is just smart, because nobody knew how was Ai beneath the mask she put on but Akane could read perfectly her emotions and say her past decisions. She also found out the man Aqua was searching for in a few episodes while it took seasons for Aqua and it was never him who found who the man was. She is not a pick me with Aqua or anything. She lets go of him and pushed him towards Kana cause she knew he loved her. She was a pure genius
