@aboutplc: the first time seeing something like this inside a cabinet. I had absolutely no idea what it was. Now I do. It’s a safety relay — the thing that makes sure when someone hits the big red button on a machine, it actually stops. Immediately. No maybes. Today I finally got my hands on one, and decided to also start learning EPLAN for the first time. Up until now every schematic I ever made was drawn by hand, on paper, with ink. So here’s my first ever digital schematic — wired up on a test board at home, using an old enclosure I had laying around. Inside: an emergency stop button, a reset button, and an LED to show when the relay has tripped or detected a fault. Small project. Old parts. First digital schematic. Just learning stuff. 🔧
