heyy I think you've misunderstood project pan. I personally havent taken part but it was popularised as a way to encourage people to stop over consuming and being conscious about their purchases. Its mainly targets people who struggle with shopping "addictions" and encourages them to questions their buying habits

Genuinely no shade because i agree with what you're saying in regards to overconsumption as a whole but you having so many journals is the same concept as project pan, so i don't feel like it's fair to knock people who are doing it. Maybe it's just because I'm on this side of tiktok, idk, but I do feel like overall, so many of us are waking up to just how much we overconsume and I think it's having a massive impact across the world. Hopefully, it will make us all more concious in our spending whilst also helping us to save a lot more!

I am a hit-the-pan person and only have basic kit. I cried when I lost my kit while traveling because I had to replace most of them in one go 😭 Ended up being over £500 😭😭😭
