My mom was an amazing person, I’m proud to be her son and she often told me how proud she was of me. My Dad, however, different story. He was a very complicated person who made things very difficult for a lot of people. I’ve struggled for years trying to decide whether or not I was proud to have him as a father. I miss him, I will love him forever, but I hope to God my own child is proud to have me as a father and never questions it. 💙
