She’s overtired, that’s why she’s having trouble falling asleep. Start the routine earlier.

I think you’re reading her cues all wrong. She was tired after her bath rubbing her eyes. You are starting bedtime routine way too late

if I waited for my toddler to seem tired, she'd never go to sleep.

you're mistaking her clues: even though she doesn't seem tired, she is. she may seem happy and playful, but if it has been more than 5 hours since her nap, she IS tired, even when it's not visible. trust me. try starting the routine a little earlier, like 8/8.30 tops

As a mum of a low sleep needs baby, I have no advice but invest in a good coffee machine 🤣

I found Norah and her family first which lead me to Micro and her family and finding you guys I have felt like I found my people. My baby is so much like Micro(high energy, low sleep and all the things) it makes me feel so less alone knowing other parents do later bed time and car rides for bed time. Thank you guys for being so relatable💜

I think the energy is overtiredness.. I’d get her into a routine asap. Like don’t let her sleep in until 9am, wake her at 7/7:30 to start her day, nap around 12/1pm, she’ll be ready by 8pm

Sometimes they don’t seem tired but actually they’re exhausted! Your toddler seems overtired and the reason she is fighting sleep is because bedtime is starting too late. Maybe check out wake window lengths for her age and try a new routine? Pop her down earlier than you think and see what happens 😊

They seem like they have tons of energy but it’s cause they’re overtired - time to make a bedtime routine & stick to it!

Yes sir!! I had to drive both my kids around. It's crazy because Micro had a full day of activities yesterday. 🤷🏻

Maybe because you let her play and you keep recording her, talking with a high tone of voice and keeping the lights on?

Am I the only one that takes my son to bed around the same time every night so that he knows that it’s bed time? Not like run him until literally falls asleep? I’m confused lol

You need a routine. Wake up and sleep time the same everyday. Also invest some time in learning to let her fall asleep by herself. Kids need enough sleep to develop mentaly. This is someting you teach her, now your job to make it better
