@jeromecooksfood: 🥙Donor Kebab (full recipe below) For more easy, quick, healthy recipes be sure to sign up to my Substack (the link is in the bio) 🧅Ingredients For the Kebab 500g mince (beef or lamb) 1/2 onion (grated) 2 tbsp olive oil Pinch of salt 2tsp cumin 2 tsp coriander 1 tsp chilli powder 2 tsp smoked paprika 2 tsp oregano For the Yoghurt Garlic Sauce 150g Yoghurt 1 Garlic Clove Pinch of salt 1 tbsp olive oil 🔪Method For the kebab 1️⃣Comine all the kebab ingredients in a bowl and mix well 2️⃣Spread thinly on parchment paper, then roll up 3️⃣Bake in an oven at 180C for 20 minutes 4️⃣Unroll, cut into strips and enjoy For the sauce 1️⃣Put the ingredients in a bowl and mix well 2️⃣Enjoy! #food #cooking #Recipe #donorkebab

My very first kebab that began my thirty year love affair with kebabs was Iranian & came with a mint yogurt sauce that was the hottest thing I have ever had but you could taste it. Trouble is I have never found a place that does the sauce & have never been able too recreate it, the closest I have comes was mayonnaise, mint. Garlic & a feck tonne of tobasco. Any ideas?
