often in relationships where one person is ear marked as the home maker, I wonder have you given them space to grow, supported them in growth. allowed them their right to step outside of the home role to grow. it's all very well saying I've evolved but is that because you engineered a situation where that was available to you. then to turn around and use it as a justification to put the other person down or in reality let them down consistently is vastly unfair

It would be so helpful if they actually explained what it means to have evolved. Cause it is such a blanket term - what does it mean? You are calling the other person out for not displaying growth but you need to define it.

I find the word "evolve" a bit tricky, especially since implying that someone isn't on the same path as you means they are stagnant can come across as morally superior… I wouldn't like to be in a relationship with someone who talks about me in that way

Let her go. She’s saying a lot here. She’s saying she’s evolved meaning she’s grown as a human and her desires and wants for relationship has changed and you can’t feed it. She wants to explore this newfound-ness of her without you and with others. She’s telling you a lot without saying it outright and while it’s hard to walk away, you must cuz there’s nothing you can do that’ll change how she feels. It happens in relationship where ppl feel they’re new person and need space to figure it out
