Before I take any Nasdaq or gold setup, I need 3 things aligned: Market structureKey levelsTrend confirmation If price is making lower highs and lower lows, I’m looking for shorts. If price is respecting premarket highs and lows, previous day levels, or supply and demand zones, that adds confluence. Then I wait for confirmation with the overall trend. No confirmation = no trade. That alone will save you from a lot of bad entries and overtrading.
