All you need in Apple Cider Vinegar. You don’t need the banana and for the love of beer don’t waste good beer. This is tested and 100% effective. Also, use Dawn on your drains. It’s more readily available. May not break down gunk but kills the flies.

I just boil water 2-3 times a day and pour down the sink everyday for a few days so the eggs can’t hatch! Works a treat.

I've never had fruitflies after I started boiling an entire kettle of water for only one cup of tea, and pouring the rest of the boiling water down the drain. you're welcome.

you don't need a cleaner, boiling water in every drain twice a day will kill the eggs. traps will attract more flies from outside, they can smell up to 1000 meters. put everything yeasty in the fridge to starve them, and kill the eggs in the drains, including sponges and bathroom. gone within a week, no products required.

91% rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle will kill them on contact. Just spray them and they’ll drop
