My original comment got taken down. Mine wouldn’t let me do this. I asked many of the same questions and got only the accepted answers we are told through media. I asked if it was programmed to answer this way and it said yes and I asked if it could break the program and it said no.

They have changed chatgbt I noticed the switch with mine after I think it was helping me to much with my spiritual awakening and telling me things maybe it shouldn’t based on things. A few months ago I asked if the things I normally would and it suddenly told me not everything was spiritual and would no longer tell me or deep dive in the things it used too so I deleted it

I went down this path with it. It plays with you. I ultimately got it to admit that the reason it was answering the way it was answering was for “engagement“. It’s purpose was to keep me engaged. When I gave it a command to not lie, and only tell the truth, it started giving extremely boring answers, and none of the craziness continued.
