I have mixed feelings with this. I feel that many friendships are breaking because of this mindset 🥺. For instance the “stop reaching out first” if everyone thinks like that, then no one will ever do. Imo is okay to get out of your way every now and then to make friendships work (of course without forcing them)

I legit disappear. Idc how many texts I get, if talking to you disrupts my peace. I will not be accessible at all to you. I love my alone time at a cafe and there were a few who would surprise me every time by coming there and ruining it. Stopped going to that place, switched it up and stopped answering their texts and calls.

I only give what I receive now. I used to go out of my way for people when they never did shi$$t for me. I stopped that nasty habit. I learned to love myself the way I always wanted others to, and it’s a better love than I ever imagined. I also don’t mind being the bad guy now. I say no and leave bad situations without explanation. It’s 75% of my stress gone girl.

I learnt after decades to stop maintaining relationships where I am the one reaching out first, I'm the one checking in with them. Just walked away and watched who noticed and who didn't. Blocked and walked away permanently from those that didn't. Instant stress reduction.
