Comon brother. God is all knowing but he is all loving as well. This means that we have FREE WILL. Free will to choose sin and free will to choose him. The reason why the tree was there was because God loved Adam so he gave him the choice to eat the apple, or choose him.

The whole problem with this idea is that, 1. It gets rid of free will, 2. You just admitted that Mormons believe that God is okay with sin/disobedience and 3. If God intended for Adam and Eve to eat of the fruit, why did He punish them for doing exactly what He wanted?

"adam fell that man might be." I hope we'll consider that Eve partook of the fruit and Adam now had a choice to make. remain alone in the garden by himself as she's cast out, or partake also and go with her to create the family of the earth. this isn't far off from what people believe. also that's the whole point of Messiah. we can go on for decades committing no sin, but slip up once and that's enough to fall short. Jesus paid that fine.

You do know that the Old Testament is mostly fables passed down from older religions; however we do know it is an ancient book. The New Testament was written over 80 yrs after Jesus death with know first hand witness of his life? The BOM is full of 19th century racism and anachronisms that prove it to be a 19th century work of fiction, and we know it was written in the 19th century. I have know problem with religion, but it amazes me how un educated people are concerning religion. Think about it, there has been over 3,000 gods in human history, and you are just lucky enough to have been born into the corect God; in addition to that, you were born into the only true religion worshipping the correct God. Then you will say that you have had a feeling or experience; well so has everyone in every religion.
