in the uk we detest her parents. they should have been locked up for neglect and this is all on them no matter what happened. if maddie was with them on that night she would not still be missing.

Correction: the room was not on the ground floor, it was a first floor room, which for British people means the second floor. I watched the documentary where they showed the flat itself. It was not on the ground floor.

at this point I'm deciding that her parents had something to do with it it makes very little sense to me otherwise how a three year old could just disappear like that at the very least they were so neglectful that let that poor 3 year old girl who probably went through something evil and is now longer on this Earth to get kidnapped I hope they live every day in fear of being recognized as the losers who were so neglectful of their children one got kidnapped I hope they're shunned by their community for being the losers who let their three-year-old get kidnapped because they couldn't handle eating dinner with the children they chose to have

I think it was an intruder, but the parents have a huge amount of capability. They left their children completely unattended with an unlocked door. I don’t leave my dog with an unlocked door like it’s insane that anyone at any time thought that that was OK.
