Why not just go outside? I get a significant tan every summer unintentionally, I dont use any products or anything I just work outdoors and enjoy being outside in the summer

Go to the beach with friends. Like walk around or smth. But wear sunscreen. Just bcz you go dark doesn’t mean you don’t also burn, I tan so fast and get really dark bcz I’m Thai, but I was out all week in a heatwave and got bad sunburns on my shoulders bcz I didn’t put enough sunscreen. You tan a lot when swimming too, also sunscreen doesn’t stop you from tanning.

I’m not sure if you mean highlights? You do or don’t want in your hair..? If it turns brassy use a purple shampoo it makes it brighten up

I think the best way to safely tan is sun exposure with sunscreen on! You don’t ever want to overdo it! Avoid tanning beds!! I would use stronger spf on scars! If you decide to do self tanner watch videos and exfoliate before! Sun and tanning is a double edge sword because over exposure causes your skin to prematurely age and it’s literally radiation so like you mentioned, you want to prevent cancers! Good luck

Just go outside, work in the garden if you have one/go shirtless when outside, loads of guys jst walk around shirtless when its too hot? If u wanna get slightly darker as a starting point then jsut get tanning lotion moisturiser (on amazon, nivea i think)
