I'm an advocate of transparency, I tell my guy everything even guys that asks me out, I realised he gets colder instead of appreciating the loyalty, so I have stopped. like you have rightfully said, the information serves no purpose.

this right here. we often confuse transparency with authenticity (being true to your values). too many people treat their lives like they need to provide unrestricted access to be real, but true authenticity actually requires discernment. it’s not about how much you share, but how aligned that sharing is with who you actually are
