What’s your wall color? Furniture? Flooring? (Hopefully those are all in the same pallet) use that as your base and incorporate accent colors within the pattern. 2. If you have a shag rug throw it away. You can’t even vacuum those so literally it’s like a cesspool of the unknown. 3. Found some of the BEST neutral rugs at Walmart that are actually so good, clean, timeless, and will work with anything you already have going on in your space.
