Do you think the apt punishment for the grandmother is not also punishing the other grandchildren as well, who maybe love their grandmother and want to spend time with her. So as along as the grandmother gets punished, it’s worth the suffering of the other grandchildren. I agree it was wrong, maybe she is not educated around autism. She is probably old school and sees things in black and white. Maybe try and educate her and others about your son and be more selective over who your autistic son is left with. Someone who understands the needs and what can happen in different circumstances that may arise.
