Update: Safe with @strongpawsrescue (More updates will be on our their Instagram + mine when they pick her up and send a freedom photo ❤️) — I saw this sweet girls intake photo last night and emailed the shelter asking for her info because she was the first dog I wanted to meet during my volunteer shift today. I could tell from the photo, she was missing hair and so skinny. She trembled the entire time we were together and typically you’d let a dog like her decompress before handling, but as most of you know we are so limited on time and the only way these dogs get saved is if I can show rescues and adopters she can be handled without showing aggression. Scared dogs may growl, snap, bite but in this case she did none of that. She let me pick her up out of the kennel and bring her to the hallway and she let me pet her. I love her so much and I’m praying a good rescue can get her before a bad one. She deserves a real chance, she deserves medical care beyond the shelter and quiet foster home with loving foster parents. 🔴 If you are not in the position to intake a medcial case please do not adopt 🙏 gofundmes will not be made for this pet unless it is through a 501c3 nonprofit •Questions?
