I've just spent two months in Bangkok. It was life changing. Beautiful people crazy traffic amazing temples amazing food. It was just wonderful I can't wait to return I'm busy learning Thai so I can say more than the basics. Leaving Krung Thep was sooo hard.

“Bangkok” is divided into 2 sides by the Chao Praya river, one part is called Thonburi (ex-capital city) and another part is called Bangkok/Pra na khon (city center). That’s why we never call this city “Bangkok” in Thai bcs it’s just one part of the whole capital city (like how you never call Brooklyn as New York). and the official name of this city is Krung Thep and will always be Krung Thep
