As said in the edit, Eren faces inner conflict throughout the story, especially in regards to his identity as a titan shifter. In the end, he becomes the monster he most dreaded and looked down upon. Yet, this path was one he chose for himself, and still he fell victim to his own selfish nature. “I want u to hold me tight” obvi links to him wanting to stay w mikasa in the cabin scene. For” how dare you” i used the scene of eren saying g he hates her as well as their failed confession - not as anger, but to show how they both care so much about what the other says, hence the “my heart craves it” showing their unfulfilled confession dcene more. Despite eren being “a monster”, he still is “selfish” and desires not just his freedom goals but also love. He also admits that he shouldnt have access to his power, and next I sjow when he admits everything to Ramzi. I flicker between his human, vulnerable form and then his actual rumbling form to show his identities. Here, Eren being a monster does not just literally refer to his rumbling form and his actions, but his internal state/struggles where he chooses his own desires over everything else. For “please savw me,” I used the manga panels from when mikasa is trying to convince eren to come home, and I used it right after the scene of eren being 💀💀’d. When the song repeats, the lyric “u taugjt me love” fits how eren taught mikasa to live, and for one another, they are the answer.
