as bad as he is, and after hearing you raising some good points as to why he is even worse, I still think that although he is bad, you can still feel pity for him and still relate to him on a certain level, atleats the sentiment of "I don't think I want to change" is familiar to me, and I might be wrong, but it seems as if he recognizes that he is bad at the end, and that he needs to change, but he doesn't want to go through the hard part of it all, which is still not good but better and more understandable than if we take the line of "i dont want to change" at face value , but i might just be humanising him because I kinda of relate to him, though if not at that level, please excuse my poor writing and if you have anything to add or to contradict me on, please do
