That’s crazy. Should have slowed down and came up with a better plan. Sucks. You’re right but I get why it happens. Command hates calling us out especially when we aren’t working. They handle a lot of things they shouldn’t because of money and taking time.

He’s not a barricaded suspect Buffalo PD goes through about 25 of those domestic every shift you can’t call the SWAT team for a domestic. This was a routine call that went bad. Nothing you can do about it.

If he’s alone in the house then time is on your side. Speak by phone or pa and try to get them to calmly come out on their own.

I prefer go in kick some tail forget being nice but society want that you back out if the house and deploy alllll the gas into that home... let the family stay in the home afterwards.... at some point the family will want the suspect addressed in the future more quickly...
