@blaise.gomez12: A tight-knit Town of Newburgh neighborhood filled with children is in shock after three kids were struck by a Jeep Wrangler while playing outside on Starrow Drive near Route 300 Thursday evening. Police say a 52-year-old Newburgh man was behind the wheel. Two of the children are in critical but stable condition. A third suffered minor injuries and is expected to be OK. Neighbors tell me the children and driver all live in the neighborhood. One described the incident as “devastating” after a young boy witnessed three of his friends get hit. Some neighbors also say speeding has been a concern on Starrow Drive for years, though police have not said what may have contributed to the crash. #newburgh #children #accidents #police #blaisegomez
