comments are tripping, changed my transmission fluid and filter many times PERSONALLY, never once had one fail on me. i’ve seen MANY transmissions fail because of NOT having their fluid change. i get it, get the customer coming back, bunch of bs

Find a new mechanic bruh. Lifetime fluid is a vehicle manufacturer scam. Check the recommendations of the maker of your transmission. Bet you it’s got a service interval.

If you’re at or under 60k then absolutely do a flush every 60k but if you’re over 60k then do a drain and fill every 60k and if you’re above 100k don’t touch it 🙏🏼🫶🏼

He’s 100% right unless it’s a CVT or req by the manual. Most standard manuals don’t even recommend a transmission fluid change until the 100k mark.

Never do a full flush unless you have had it since brand new, drop the pan change filter and top it of. Every 30 to 60k

After 170k miles, dont touch it. all the clutch material is in that fluid as it wore down, changing it will drain all that material in the fluid and can cause the trans to slip. (Ford tech)
