@arkansasonline.com: Arkansas State Police Col. Mike Hagar called Friday for parents not to flee police with children aboard after a May pursuit in Ouachita County ended in a crash that left four young children shaken but unhurt. The trooper pursuing Tyrice Fletcher, 28, from Camden onto Ouachita 47 on the afternoon of May 24 didn't know that four children, all younger than 6, were in the vehicle until Fletcher crashed and a 4-month-old infant, who was not restrained, was thrown from the vehicle, according to a state police news release. #arkansas #fyp #foryourpage #news #foryou #politcs #statepolice #asp #arkansasstatepolicechase #pitmenuver
This stuff irritates me. Do not flee from police if you have kids in the car. Don’t flee period, but leave the kids out of it. Too many young kids and babies have been lost because of this kind of negligence.

What was the reason for the pursuit in the first place? most competent agencies have a no pursuit policy in place exactly for reasons like this. it's 2026. Use your license plate readers and flock cameras and everything else and go pick them up later.

People shouldn't flee, and cops shouldn't go on high speed pursuits for non violent suspects. This agency now has a terrible and accurate reputation for pitting vehicles, even though this wasn't one of those instances.
