Thank you 75 Hard for kickstarting my post grad fitness journey. I definitely had myself a senior spring and post grad summer but it was time to lock back IN. Zero regrets but I knew I didn’t want to look/feel like this forever. The impact that constantly going out, eating late, having the munchies, not sleeping at all, & substances have on your body AND mind is insane. It was fun while it lasted and I always have such a good time when I go out with my girls post grad but now it’s more sparingly which makes each time more fun :) Towards the end of senior year I was going out at least half of the days out of the week, getting takeout almost every single one of those nights and I loved every moment of it but I knew it wasn’t sustainable long term. I got to travel a bunch this summer which was amazing but I didn’t get the chance to start consistently working out or really looking after my health until the beginning of September. Navigating the gym post grad and also finding myself in a different body after retiring from gymnastics in March felt so weird, but I have been able to enjoy the process. I’ve gotten to know myself better, try new workouts, foods, & also tend to my health and wellness more than I ever have in the past. This new found free time is a privilege and exciting. It’s not even so much the “visual progress” that is crazy it’s the way that I am able to hold myself. It’s just a different kind of essence, idk how to explain it? Anyways, this TikTok is lowkey becoming my personal digital diary but that’s ok. This app feels a lot safer than Instagram, kinda reminds me of YouTube. Excited to see what the future holds, enjoying each day as it comes 🤍 @DFYNE #Fitness #75hard #GymTok #transformation #gymtransformation
