I think that was my biggest gripe with the movie. Cindy and Brenda carry the franchise, and they’re in it surprisingly little. Shorty and the reboot cast got the most screen time, and although Shorty is funny, his jokes are all around 420 and one note. I was disappointed by how little Brenda was in it.

There was less Cindy and Brenda because the Wayans wanted more screen time for themselves. There’s SO much of Marlon’s character and it stops being funny by the third scene

I loved the nostalgia bait for the first half, but the second half made me question how much new material they were really working with, it just seemed that they kept on referencing the old films and it kind of just turned into “ a walk down memory lane” kind of vibes
