i just can’t imagine telling someone what they can and cannot do with their body. that’s literally it, even if i disagree, or i wouldn’t do whatever it is myself. it does not matter, my opinion should on what i like and dislike shouldn’t have autonomy over someone else’s mind and body.

always should have a choice. some people can’t afford a child that comes with thousands of dollars in medical expenses. abortion is ALWAYS the HARDEST decision but can be the smartest decision.

I would absolutely make the same choice. What happens after I’m gone? How will it affect the siblings? Now and later in life. What is the quality of life?

Abortion is never easy. But abortion is healrh care no matter the reason. A child with down syndrome takes so much extra time effort and money that some people may not be able to give. That doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with that baby. Just it might be better they aren’t born before their brain is developed rather than living in a house that isn’t good enough or being thrown into a foster system with 1000s of other children that dont have a home either. abortion is more humane than giving a child a bad life. Disability or not, You should only bring a child into this world if you are prepared to take care or THEM. There is nothing wrong with downs babies, they are beautiful and full of light, same with any other disabilities or health issues. Just some people shouldn’t have that responsibility

I mean..... you can cross into eugenics with that argument. "pro choice" doesn't have to mean pro choice regardless of ethical limitations. not saying what they did makes them bad people, just saying that you can be against aborting a disabled child and still be pro abortion/choice

They are acting like they did a late term abortion. (The horrific one where they leave the head of the baby inside until it passes. Tbh idk if that’s true or something people say to make people who have had abortions look evil.)

Pro choice is the only choice that doesn’t violate the most basic human rights. I can’t even imagine how hard that decision would be to make but in my eyes it would be a mercy to everyone involved
