My son-in-law went on indeed and filled out over 200 applications in 4 months. he got one call back and then they said he wasn't experienced enough. 200 applications and nobody would hire him and he has plenty of background experience and a lot of stuff he has college

12 years as a recruiter here. This is not happening like this, I promise. The market is sooo over saturated with active job seekers. For a mid level corporate job, I receive an upwards of 800-900 applications in a single role. Before you @ me, I work contracts and get to see the inner workings of multiple companies. AI for recruiting is not this advanced yet and most companies can’t afford these tools yet (just look at what happened to Uber). Ive worked for companies like Uber, GM, Bank of America and other global organizations.
