hmm maybe brushed single strand mohair lampshade in a cream / pastel shade but super flat / sleek? i think stockinette (flat side outwards) with the rolled edges on the same two-circle wire frame would be cute? as someone else said, perhaps a simple lampshade would complement the statement piece base. i think the texture of the light/shadows on the knitted spiky top are clashing with the texture of light / shadow of the metallic/reflective finish base. lmk if im making sense😭

Since the base is such a statement piece id pair it with a contrasting design + material, say a super simple off-white draped linen fabric in a cylinder or square shape. With the same design philosophy, the knit shade would be super cool paired with a thick square wooden base to modernise it a bit💟
