So true. So many doctors are good then they read my chart and I see their attitude to me completely change. Suddenly there’s concern that anxiety is causing my symptoms and that I’m just being paranoid or whatever. I hate it.

I’ve had a headache for 31 days with vision changes and syncope episodes. I’ve been told it is just anxiety all three times I ended up in the ER because they saw my psychiatric history first. I see a neurologist next week who will hopefully be able to help me. I totally understand this

I’ve been super sick for 4 years, all they see is my mental health. It’s horrible. I’m so happy now but so sick and very few of my doctors believe me.

The BPD diagnosis haunts me. My GP has given me a hard time and I think they don’t believe there’s an incompetence issue because they think I’m just being irrational. Now they’ve discharged me without a family doctor to refill my meds, and they still won’t listen to me when there’s been countless times. They won’t see notes of my assessments to provide me care, but they saw the note of how I reacted to discharge me

THIS. Im so unwell right now with influenza B and a few other things doctors have just blamed it all on mental health and sent me home or call the crisis team for literally nothing when it’s obvious I’m unwell
