I was induced with my first. Ended in emergency CS. Failed spinal so I needed to be intubated with general anaesthetic. Went through all that pain for nothing. Nearly lost my son and myself all because I was 42 weeks

I was induced on my due date (40 weeks), and the advice was bc my baby’s head ‘might’ be too big to push out. I had to fight to not end up in emergency C but the induction was HELLLLLLLL😞 thankfully my son made it out safely❤️🩹

Went for induction because I was in so much pain by 39 weeks, was working but took them so long to figure out my baby was back to back and I couldn’t be on any more meds otherwise it’d affect my baby! Had I known sooner, I probs still would’ve had CS but I don’t know how ‘emergent’ it would be🥲
