Every site you visit can fingerprint your canvas rendering, WebGL strings, installed fonts, screen resolution, and timezone without a single cookie. But the one most VPN users don't know about is WebRTC - it moves underneath the application layer, bypassing your encrypted tunnel entirely and handing your real IP directly to a STUN server before your VPN ever sees the request. Disable it in Firefox via about:config, kill it with WebRTC Network Limiter on Chrome, or just use Brave which routes it through the tunnel by default. Mullvad and TOR also handle this.
