There are "papas de sarrabulho" (mushed bread with variety of meet and pork blood) more traditional from the "baixo minho" region (Braga and Guimarães area). Its served in a bowl by itself while rice and Rojoes (the pork and sausage) on different plates. But for me the absolute best form of Sarrabulho is in Ponte de Lima where they cook the rice in a much lighter form of Sarrabulho. Its kind off a risotto in sarrabulho. Meat comes in a side dish too. Any restaurants intown will do it well and the town itself is drop dead gorgeous. Check it online and tank me later.
