Are yall really complaining that they are checking everything. Fill it some and look for bubbles to see if they missed spot. They’ll patch a good portion for a little leak. Won’t cost more. Why complain?

It’s called a test. Pretty standard practice for any repair job, especially when plumbing is being done, to stress test or leak test periodically.

Just guessing but if they fill it in increments and then pause to check the level, they can get a better idea where any leak is.

They posted this info 2 days ago. filling to a point while the finish the stone cleaning. they stated they will finish over this weekend. Pool will be fully filled atound Tuesday if all is done.

Thats what you do to check if there are any leaks. Add volume. Shut off, see if volume decreases. If good, no loss of water, turn back in to fill. Really not had to deduce.
